Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: How do I register for the shuttle?
Registering helps Lanark Transportation provide the right amount of shuttles for riders. To register, please call one of these numbers:
- 1-877-445-5777 (toll-free)
- 613-264-8256
Registration deadline: 10 a.m. the day before the shuttle.
Q: Can you pick me up at my door step instead?
We would be happy to! When registering for our shuttle, please inform us where you would like to be picked up and dropped off.
Door step pickups will occur prior to the start of the scheduled route, and dropoffs will occur after the scheduled route – please plan extra time in your schedule if you intend on being picked up at your door step.
Q: Why do some routes have a fare?
As a not-for-profit association, the Lanark Transportation Association collects fares to offset the cost of providing our services, such as gas and maintenance of our fleet. Your fare is kept low and affordable by subsidizing the cost through government grants, donations, and contributions from the Provincial Gas Tax.
Q: How can I donate to the Lanark Transportation Association?
Thank you for your generosity! We accept donations over the phone (1-877-445-5777 or 613-264-8256).
